FERRI takes our vocation for service to industry beyond the bounds of the maritime sector.  We are used to working with the minimum opportunities for service and maintenance and extreme working conditions. Through our technical team, we transfer our experience acquired in the development of maritime equipment to a series of different areas in which the key factors are extreme working conditions, in hostile environments.

Since 1984 we have been developing drilling machinery for ornamental quarrying and has offered an extensive range of high-performance drilling. Meeting the needs of the construction sector, we have developed a range of high-performance multifunction robots. Units able to operate in explosive or radioactive difficult access.

FERRI Roll-over

Due to its engineering interests and needs identified in the market, Ferri has designed and developed special machinery among which are worth noting the following equipment. Drill pipe with the option to develop uprising processes. It has been developed in conjunction with Atlas Copco adapting drilling columns existing on the market for specific uses.

Roll-Over system is designed to perform the following movements when the drill is in uprising position:
– Horizontal turn of 220°.
– Column support with three support legs driven by hydraulic cylinders which allow the soil to 250mm shoemakers.

PNEUMATIC POWERED DRILLING RIG

FERRI N-series

Pneumatic powered drilling rigs for Stone drilling and Stone dimensioning Works. It can be attached to any back-hoe. Standard configuration: From F1N (one hammer) to F5N (five hammers). Air or water flushing. Drilling speed 1 m/min (depending on stone hardness).

DRILLING RIG WITH 1 PNEUMATIC ROCK DRILL

– Drills a bore hole up to 2.20 m in depth, end-of-travel regulated, perfectly aligned along length of 3,3 m between bore hole ends, up to 9 m in depth with drill steel change.
– Drilling speed of 0.5 in granite, 1 m/min in marble. Average drilling rate of 250 m/day in granite.
– Drilling speed of 0.5 in granite, 1 m/min in marble. Average drilling rate of 250 m/day in granite.
– A 24 kg pneumatic rock drill for integral 7/8″ drill steels, 32 mm diam.
– Fixed manual controls. Optional remote control.
– Pressurized water flushing of bore holes, with a consumption of 7 l/min. 2.000-litre tank and pump are coupled to the vehicle.
– Optional air flushing with dust retainer.
– The compressed air for the operation of the machine (3,5 m³ at 6 bar), will be provided by external compressor.
– They can be installed on excavators with a minimum weight of 10 tons.

– Average drilling rate of 250 m/day in granite.
– Two 24 kg pneumatic rock drills for integral 7/8 drill steels, 32 mm diam.
– Fixed manual controls. Optional remote control.
– Pressurized water flushing of bore holes, with a consumption of 7 l/min.

– Drills three bore holes at the same time of up to 2,20 m in depth, end-of-travel regulated, perfectly aligned along length of 3,62 m between bore hole ends, up to 9 m in depth with drill steel change.
– Drilling speed of 0,5 in granite, 1 m/min in marble. Average drilling rate of 450 m/day in granite.
– Three 24 kg pneumatic rock drills for integral 7/8″ drill steels, 32 mm diam.
– Fixed manual controls. Remote control is also available.
– Pressurized water flushing of bore holes, with a consumption of 12 l/min. 3.000-llitre tank and pump are coupled to the vehicle.
– Optional air flushing with dust retainer.
– The compressed air for the operation of the machine (15 m³ at 6 bar), will be provided by external compressor.

SEMI-AUTOMATIC DRILLING RIG WITH FOUR PNEUMATIC ROCK DRILLS.

– Drills four bore holes at the same time of up to 2,20m un depth, automatically regulated, perfectly aligned along a length of 4.14 m between bore hole ends, up to 9m in depth with drill steel change.
– Four 29-kilo pneumatic rock drills for integral 7/8 drill steels, 32 mm Diam.
– Drilling speed of 0.75 m/min. In granite, 1,5 m/min in marble.
